Within easy access of the A419 in Chalford, Brookside is a 16th Century mill keepers house with a grade II listing and full of quaint old artifacts, including the owners. Aptly named, the Golden Valley follows the river Frome  and the gardens at Brookside enjoy an idyllic location between the river Frome and a millstream stocked with brown trout and wild duck.
